And if that weren't bad enough, poor little Zidane is
always the uke, no exceptions. I've even seen porn of Freya and Garnet dominating him. Which is a shame because his personality's pretty manly. Poor Ziddy D:
AUUGGGHHHH THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DRAWING ANYTHING IN WEEKS. I FEEL LIKE I'VE TOTALLY FORGOTTEN HOW TO DO IT. IN FACT I KNOW I'VE TOTALLY FORGOTTEN HOW TO DO IT.
Also, I'm suffering from the flu right now. And monthly girl issues. I seem to only get sick when on the rag nowadays. WORST GODDAMN COMBINATION IN THE HISTORY OF EVER
Why do all FF characters have to dress like flamboyant homosexuals? Terra and OK's outfits in particular are migraine inducingly hard to draw

FF1 to 6 are my faves though, just because I love the obvious DnD basis. FF9 is close though.
And this isn't to say Nomura's bad. His art style is much more conceptual and crisp than Amano's and better demonstrates the characters. It also has better proportions than whoever did the character design for FF9 (my one main issue with that one). And he's a creative guy. He just tends to get carried away, and has a slightly arrogant writing style.
And I ranted, oops.
barring Necron. I do think FF7 is a delightful game in itself that's been ruined by all the compilations/hype, but FF8 is just disappointing. It had a lot of good ideas, but the execution was a mess. And Rinoa and Squall's "romance" was just ugh so badly done. I gotta admit, I haven't played FF1-5 yet, but 6 is up there with my favourites, though I'm a little tired of its fanbase constantly trying to pit it against 7.The big issue I have with FF9, gameplay-wise, is an issue present in pretty much every FF game beside 4. The magic system. It's unnecessarily complex in most of the games besides 4. In FF4 it's simple; mage character learn spells as they level up, and have full access to all the spells that they learn. They're limited by mana points. Simple and easy. You can see that system in other RPGs. FF1 to 3 are forgiven because they were still practicing, but why did later games revert to confusing systems? At least the ones I've played. I mean, equip them with items until they master the item and learn the spell, then the whole counter thing of how many times you can use the spell.
And to FF7 and 8. I don't mind them. FF7 has some good ideas, bringing sci-fi edges to it for example, but it's not the god amongst games that it's made out to be by Nomura's ego and reinforced by obsessed fanboys and horny fangirls who want Sephiroth's dick. But it's a decent game from what I've seen and heard.
And another note on Dissidia, I think they ruined Golbez a lot in personality. Dissidia NEVER acknowledges SPOILER
Zemus. The real villain of FF4 is Zemus, a despotic alien with extremely powerful mind control abilities and the ability to transform into a god of hatred upon his death, a being named Zeromus.
And you forgot Prishe, Dissidia's a sausagefest maybe, but there is Prishe. And Zidane seems quite fond of her.
And I mean who makes Zidane uke? He's hardly submissive. He's ballsy enough to flirt with a bounty hunter who's trying to kill him (which was hilarious btw).
And yeah, Zidane has a totally badass personality, but he has an unfortunately feminine body so he's doomed to be uke in the eyes of Fujoshi.
